I am entering my twenty-seventh year in Loudoun County and my eleventh year as the Instructional Facilitator for Technology. I have taught ten years in fifth grade and four years in fourth grade. I support teachers to implement and integrate technology tools and applications that transform learning in the classroom in order to personalize learning and meet the needs of 21st century learners. I am passionate about teaching and learning that embraces innovative practices. It has always been my passion to work with children especially with the use of technology. Used to support both teaching and learning, I believe technology infuses classroom engagement and builds 21st century learning skills. I am very excited to be a member of Personalized Learning leadership team again this year at Discovery. In a personalized learning environment all (students/teachers) will have voice and choice and are intrinsically motivated to innovate and problem solve.
